This co-written book alternates between chapters of the two main characters. When Siobhan starts teaching a creative writing class little does she know that Alex, one of her students, will fall obsessively in love with her. Alex starts stalking Siobhan, although of course he doesn't see it like that. As things start to happen, Siobhan becomes scared,but does not go to the police. Eventually she finds out who her stalker is, but when he falls for cute little Emily, Siobhan suddenly finds her life lacks any thrills.
What's a girl got to do, to get any attention? In Siobhan's case she starts stalking her ex-stalker, unable to see what attractions Emily could possibly hold for him. This is a book that will have you laughing out loud at the fantastic humour, as well as the satire aimed at the publishing world. If you love psychological tales, and black comedies, you will love this. The humour in this can be as deliciously dark as a good espresso. Ultimately this is too long for a film, but this would make a great two-part tv drama; I can't wait for the next book to be released by these two authors.
